Tecnomac capping machines have a worldwide reputation for quality and performance and with over 80 units sold in Australia alone, the reliability speaks for itself.

JB Macmahon offers full service and technical back up and are the Australian sole distributors for the FS.2000.1 capping machine.

Both of the models sold by JBM perform the capping operation by the head descending on to the bottle. This is vitally important to ensure you get the correct head pressure applied EVERY time.

Other cheaper versions use compressed air to lift the bottle up to the capping head.

This system adds variability to the operation. Heads can be provided to apply all types of caps however we usually have in stock heads for the 30x60 BVS and 31.5mm Olive Oil cap.

The Technomac Semi Automatic Bench Mounted Screw Capping machine uses a descending mechanical head to apply screw cap closures to bottles.

It is ideal for small scale production runs and/or laboratories. Prior to despatch of each Technomac, the company configures and tests the unit with the bottle and cap combination specific to what the customer will be using.

JB Macmahon ensures that the unit will comply to screw cap manufacturers specifications!

The capping machine is driven by electric motors and does not require any compressed air supply. The capping machine comes complete with bottle centering guide, bottle activation buttons x 2, bottle height adjustment.

Technomac Capping Head Technical Description

The Tecnovit Series M 2000 capping head has been designed so that it can be adjusted to suit small variances in screw cap or bottle specifications.

The adjustments available are the pressure block redraw depth and the length of screw cap. The screw capping head needs to be changed for different diameters of screw caps.

The capping head is mounted at the end of a vertical shaft which at its lower end carries the cap pressing device (pressure block).

This can be provided with the NO-CAP NO-ROLL device that stops the threading rollers from contacting the glass finish if there is no cap.

The threading and tucking rollers are independent of each other and can be adjusted for more or less tension applied to the cap.
