SEW-Eurodrive has welcomed the latest member to its CMP family of servo motors.
THE extended CMP series is presented in six distinct frame sizes with speed ratings of 3000, 4500 and 6000rpm and torque rating of 0.5 to 45Nm. The higher-torque models of the extended CMP range can be provided with a choice of two brake torques, and two rotor inertias.
According to SEW-Eurodrive, the new CMP models complement the existing CM and CMP servo series, and are lightweight, compact form-factor, providing higher torque density than competing servo units.
Furthermore, the entire CMP servo range possesses premium dynamic characteristics, which stem from its particularly low inherent mass-moment of rotor inertia. In addition it offers a particularly high ‘four times rated torque’ overload capacity, and cogging levels minimised to below two per cent. Whisper quiet, the CMP servos retain emitted sound levels to between 55 and 75dBA at all speeds.
SEW-Eurodrive claims the entire CMP servo range offers a ‘four times rated torque’ overload capacity, and cogging levels are minimised to below two percent.
The extended CMP servo series is provided with an industry-standard round ‘canon’ plug connectors (both for power, and resolver/encoder connections) to increase equipment compatibility and to ensure speedy on-site installation and servicing when combined with pre-manufactured cable assemblies.
