The Packaging Evolution Awards reward National Packaging Covenant signatories that have shown excellence in packaging waste management and reduction of packaging waste by completing and reporting against a NPC action plan.
Today sustainability is the uniting challenge facing all industry members.
The awards give companies that are taking the lead and committing themselves to change an opportunity to shine and inspire their peers.
It is interesting, then, that at the time of writing only 67% of respondents to Packagings online barometer question believe that the National Packaging Covenant is achieving an overall reduction in packaging waste.
Is this because respondents feel that those in industry responsible for making changes should take the credit, not the NPC, or because they believe that a meaningful change in the way packaging waste is handled has not yet been achieved?

The results of the awards will be announced via the e-newsletter, website and magazine.
