Australasia-based packaging manufacturer Pact Group and Closure Systems International (CSI) for Australia and New Zealand have signed a licence agreement, enabling Pact Group to offer its customers CSI’s range of global closure technology.
“With CSI as our partner, Pact Group is now better positioned to source and manufacture a wide range of high performance, light-weight closure solutions,” Lachlan Patton, innovation and product development manager for the Pact Group, said.
Other aspects of the agreement include access to CSI’s global technical service network, high-speed capping machinery products and new product and service developments in all of these fields of expertise. Various operating subsidiaries of the Pact Group will participate in technical information exchange forums with CSI on an ongoing basis which will facilitate the sharing of these developments with The Pact Group’s Australasian customers.
“The partnership immediately broadens the range of closures that Pact Group can offer our water, carbonated soft drinks (CSD), functional beverage and juice customers,” Patton said.
