Buyers intending to visit PacPrint 09 received extra good news in December with the announcement of the Rudd Government’s 10% Temporary Investment Allowance.
PacPrint will be one of the final opportunities for graphic arts professionals to take advantage of the incentive, introduced on December 13 to encourage capital investment by Australian businesses in these challenging financial times.
The allowance will be provided in the form of an additional tax deduction, equivalent to 10 per cent of the cost of an eligible asset, which includes most new plant and equipment over $10,000 which is acquired or ordered by the end of this current financial year and installed ready for use by June 30, 2010.
