At a time when many companies are being accused of greenwashing their environmental claims, Kimberly-Clark has once again demonstrated it has the gold standard when it comes to sustainability credentials.
For the fifth year in a row, Kimberly-Clark Corporation leads the personal products category of the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI).
Only the top 10 per cent of the world's largest 2,500 companies qualify for this prestigious list, which is based on an evaluation of the economic, environmental and social performance of these companies.
"Leading our category in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index once again is a tremendous testament to the work and dedication of our teams around the world and to Kimberly-Clark's commitment to sustainability," says Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Tom Falk.
"Sustainability is a core discipline at Kimberly-Clark and we are proud that year after year our work is being recognised."
Kimberly-Clark Australia (KCA) has been a leader in sustainability with local programs running since the early 1990s including energy, waste-to-landfill and water reduction schemes.
