HUGGIES launches larger packs

While some companies are reducing the size of their products yet still charging the same amount, Huggies® brand is offering mum’s extra nappies at no extra cost.

When you think how many nappies babies use between the time they are born until they are toilet-trained, nappies can account for a large amount of a young family’s budget.

According to Head of Marketing Baby & Childcare Division, Alison Holland, "With the onset of last year’s economic downturn our consumers told us they were more closely monitoring the household budget and that Mums were increasingly seeking better value. We’re responding by giving mum’s even better value than before."

From the end of this month all Huggies® Ultra-Dry Nappies Jumbo boxes (excluding Newborn) and our new improved Huggies ® Nappy-Pants range will include 10% more nappies than before at no extra cost."

Mums will still receive the superior product performance and innovations expected from the category market-leader.

The latest of which is a contoured shape around the legs and soft curved leg elastic which provide a more comfortable fit for baby.

The larger packs are expected to be on-shelf from the end of January / beginning Feb. This is not a temporary or special-offer initiative; these larger packs will be available on an on-going, permanent basis.

The product launch will be supported by a fully integrated marketing communications campaign from 7th February including TV, Print, Outdoor, Online and In-store.
