The latest industry accolades for the Sydney headquartered company Impresstik were announced at the recent 2008 NSW Print Excellence Awards, a flagship industry event.
Impresstik won two major prizes — the prestigious Business Excellence Award for ‘Innovation in Business’, and a Silver Print Excellence Award in the Labels Category for the Pirramimma ‘Pirra’ Grenache Shiraz label.
Both citations recognise the company’s unstinting commitment to technical innovation, integrated labelling solutions, print excellence and client satisfaction.
"Impresstik continually strives to ensure optimal performance delivery at all stages of the labelling process," says Managing Director, Werner Mokesch.
"Our staff takes pride in their capacity to offer peak quality, cost effective solutions that exceed customer expectations."
The Silver Award for the ‘Pirra’ label highlights the power of print excellence. Designed by Barbara Harkness of Just Add Wine, the label displays both excellent shelf ‘stand-out’ appeal and tactility.
"The Pirra brand tier has enjoyed strong growth in the highly competitive Australian wine sector," saysPirramimma proprietor, Geoff Johnston who has been an Impresstik client since 2003.
"And we recognise that label integrity and quality is critical to both its successful positioning and penetration."
Earlier this year, Impresstik won Gold at the 25th National Print Awards for the newly rebranded Blue Pyrenees Sparkling portfolio label suite.
Designed by Stephanie Martin Design, the evocative, lustrous and highly embellished label has been applied to six individual Blue Pyrenees prestige sparkling wine products.
Impresstik Systems, the company’s applicator division, is also recognised as a pioneer of wine labelling equipment solutions.
In-house engineers recently designed and introduced the state-of-the-art Webmaster 2100, a fully automated, non-stop, self-adhesive labelling station intended for integration into both high-speed rotary or in-line installations.
Its twin-roll feed allows for uninterrupted interchange and waste ejection, minimising downtime to provide peak efficiency production capacity.
Established in 1972 and 100% Australian owned, Impresstik offers innovative and responsive labelling solutions nationally through its integrated divisions — Impresstik Labels, Impresstik Systems and the contract labelling unit, Impresstik Hi Dec.
