AIP conference speaker

Retail ready packaging (RRP) and sustainable distribution will be the focus of a presentation by James Tupper, ECR learning and change manager, IGD in the UK, at the 2008 AIP National Conference from the 12th to 13th June.

For a number of key retailers, RRP has become an integral part of how they operate.

Indeed, in some categories, being able to demonstrate a willingness to embrace RRP is almost a prerequisite for embarking on a trading relationship.

Tupper’s presentation on sustainable distribution will particularly focus on one of the objectives set by the Food Industry Sustainability Strategy which is to reduce the UK grocery industry’s economic, environmental and social impacts of food transport by 20% by 2012.

This overview will prove beneficial for the Australian packaging industry.

James has 20 years experience of developing people and business performance in the food and grocery industry across Europe, Asia and Africa, and has undertaken assignments across the globe.
